RedLight is now looking for a Designer
Are you eager to create unique interface solutions to solve software challenges while applying design patterns, conventions and UI/UX best practices? Do you have a keen eye for detail and love to see a fulfilling design falling into place? Then this might be the right challenge for you.
You need to feel comfortable integrating ongoing projects, recognizing file structures, organization patterns and other project specific requirements/characteristics.
- Passionate about improving and creating unique interfaces and solutions;
- Has great eye for detail and feels comfortable debating aesthetics and UI/UX;
- Good knowledge of translating their designs into HTML and CSS (SASS, LESS, etc are a plus);
- Basic knowledge of JS (React, VueJS, etc are a plus).
What You’ll Do:
- Create unique designs for software solutions;
- Be compliant with existing guidelines;
- Design, produce and deliver innovative solutions for web and mobile;
- Present viable quality solutions, prioritizing proper UI/UX patterns;
- Integrate multidisciplinary teams;
- Work with minimum supervision but do not fear to reach for help when required.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, etc;
- Deliver assets ready for production;
- Clearly articulate design rationales;
- Anticipate problems beforehand and propose solutions;
- Good communication skills with team members and clients;
- Ability to function with minimal oversight and positively within a team environment;
- Experience using GIT and Gitflow: branch management, pull requests, code reviews and others.
Nice to have:
- 3+ years of experience;
- Basic knowledge of building Design Systems;
- Basic knowledge of animations and transitions.
